Really good experience all round. Weâd originally booked for of us but due to Covid had to drop out, changing the reservation to a table for caused no issue. . From entering Salute to us leaving well over hours later the staff were unobtrusively attentive. The food, we had Sunday roast and nut roast, was served promptly, it was extremely well presented on warm plates and it was hot! The desserts were amazing! Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the staff were all smartly dressed and their overall manner was one of friendliness whilst staying professional. Our young waiter, we unfortunately didnât get his name, was amazing, he was quietly attentive unless he was drawn into our conversations when he showed himself to be both friendly and fun. We aim on returning as a group of very soon.
My wife is a Coeliac and requires Gluten free food. We were told that the food ordered was Gluten free but clearly either contained some Gluten or there was some cross contamination in the kitchen as she was ill when we returned home
We got moved to another table after arrival near the side door entrance, otherwise we wish it was more secluded as we enjoyed the excellent meals served and the decor is welcoming.
