This is our standard visit to the pub when we visit the city centre. The place serves a good selection of beers that are well maintained. The staff is very attentive, nothing is always too much trouble. I never have to wait a long time at the bar. This pub has a traditional feeling and a fantastic atmosphere. I haven't tried the food yet, but I was here yesterday and saw two amazing looking fish and chip dinner brought to a nearby table. Overall, the place offers a safe, relaxing environment in which a few good quality pints sink.
We went to the pub because it was cold and windy outside and they served cakes and mash that seemed like a perfect antidote for the weather. And that was it. The cakes were nice like the beer and wine. I love the place.

Very comfortable pub opposite the train station. Been several times over the years. Enjoy a pinch of Dark Star Hophead followed by the St Austel Pale.
Fabulous well kept freindly pub, lovely staff, great menu with excellent choice and good value for money. An amazing choice of beers. After leaving my phone on the table when we were returning home to Nottingham, they kindly posted it back to me with no charge. Not many pubs would have done that. I will definitely be back to visit again. Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality
Called in by chance as we were on a day out in Leeds. Very efficient friendly service. We ordered the Ham, Egg Chips (exciting I know!! . It was delicious. Would highly recommend this pub. If we go back to Leeds this place will definitely be on our to do list.
2 things you need to know about this pub. First it's not in Scarborough. Second, it's not a hotel. After you get over this it's a great pub, real class. Had really good food there, fish and chips and club sandwich. Only issue I found was the manager was a leeds fan. But then the pub is in Leeds so I guess you have to accept that. Will definitely visit again when in Leeds. And only 2min from the train station.
