the wellington was very tasty, but it was very disappointing that they no longer served vegan fish and chips.
the menu and direction changed recently and there are fewer veggie / vegan options available than before and I did not find it so well.
beautiful pub, the oldest in penzance. has a separate vegan menu with a lot of different dressed. I was twice and had the vegan burger and banana blossom fish and chips that were both good.

Delicious vegan Sunday roast at this pub and chocolate and orange dessert. Lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. Lots of vegan options on the menu, will be back!
Loved this cosy little pub! Such a warm welcome and a really good selection of vegan starters, main courses puds. I went for the vegan fish n chips made with banana blossom which came with tartare sauce and peas. Delicious
They have a whole vegan menu, including dessert which was great! Food was fresh, tasty and generous- vegan and fish and chips were amazing! Also dog friendly, and have indoor and outdoor seating. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-11
Was really impressed to see a whole vegan menu with 5 main dishes! We had the f'sh and chips. Was very nice but batter was super oily! I enjoyed it but was probably a bit too much oil. Think all the battered stuff was like this as same with onion rings.
