How had I not reviewed this cosy pub/hotel after I came here on my last visit to Chester? This is the home of the Pied Bull brewery and I very much enjoyed
This is such a beautiful looking pub inside and out but after experiencing severe food poisoning for two weeks this place has left a bad taste in my
large old pub with good food and drinks. we made the brewery tour that was great and kieron the guide was knowledgeable and had a great personality.
here before they go to the theater. good choice of beer on the hahn. drink quite expensive. that was okay.
I honestly wouldn't have asked for an ideal place. the room is beautiful and has many antique haptic. it is also very clean. the bathroom is very modern and very clean. the restaurant is funny and English. we're planning to stay here next time we're in chester. my only note is that our room was next to the pub, so there was a boring roar up to about 10 o'clock. but no problem.
beautiful place, friendly staff and delicious food. we were not in the hotel as we were in a day trip to the city, but the place itself and its history are the charm. and, as plus, its hunted (we were crazy to ask them to see the permission to see the cellar where the famous john davies run around)
absolutely could not recommend it enough here. we had an evening meal and it was super, the food was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. the next night we returned after drinks, we would definitely look at staying here at our next visit.
