Wouldn't normally review a chippy as there are so many around but you need to go here just for the pickled onion rings. A taste sensation if you please!Seriously though, the fish and chips were perfect and the staff were very friendly and attentive.We visited as a family of four and year old) and every single plate was clean at the end of the meal. visited salt water on Saturday 11 February 2017 for our evening meal, place was empty, what we did. but must be so glad that we were in it the best fish and chips we had in the old. While we were in there, it was probably busy. personal friendly, very clean, eat great and a cup of tea to die. the next visit torquay will undoubtedly include a visit again. Description
beautiful staff. very clean. I had cod and chips. his taste was nice, not swimming in fat. the part was very generous. not too expensive. real British fish and chips. if in torquay would go deffinatly again.
so fresh and very hot with light teig I had the hake that was amazing nizza clean restaurant and friendly staff reasonablely eat prices and good size proportions we loved it
we came to torquay and we decided to stop at the first place we found to lunch, we are so glad that it was saltwater. beautiful clean restaurant, good service beautiful fresh fish with a light teig accompanied by excellent chips. would be recommending

The fish was just the way we like it....lovely light crispy batter. The chips were nice and hot and the mushy peas were really nice. Excellent value for money, we have been before and will definitely be going again, it is one of our favourites now!
