nice pub friendly staff. had not tried to eat, but will go back, as menu looked good. I saw an old friend who was in the band. the band was excellent, but after all the years in the clubs they get some people who are going to be terrible about the band chuntern because they're 'one two, one two '! take the handle! do they know how much gave it into the live music? I will never understand how human beings are hostile. can not be disturbed until the last song to clap if from any reason that only got white. you think you're struggling! this is not a reflection about the pub and 90% of the public. only the few. well, great. I'll come back
brilliant pub beautiful and clean. well maintained beer and layiers. well presented pleasant staff. defeats the five stars I gave him.
Have to admit we were very pleasantly surprised. This pub is in the car park of Sainsbury's... so we weren't expecting great things ... but we needed to kill an hour. Turns out it's a lovely pub. Welcoming staff and we decided to order a couple of meals (ham salad and a ploughmans). The food was great. Definitely will be returning. Note: we went at 17:00 (so I still don't know how rowdy it may get as the evening gets later)
Very friendly local pub. Does an excellent quiz with buffet food on a Tuesday for £1.
