The Crown

Myself my friends popped into The Crown at Litlington. The moment we walked in the door there was a frosty, Hostile feel, for everyone to turn around and stare. We were then welcomed by the rather gruff Landlady/Barmaid, without even saying anything demanded to see my ID (i.e hello) even though I have visited this pub before. I have never been asked to see my ID even though I am 29 years old. I mistakenly forgot my ID, I had lemonade which was presented in a pint glass. At this point the atmosphere was still poor, so me my friends decided to leave. Which was ashame as all local pubs seem to be struggling in the current economy climate and you would think a small local pub, would be happy for the customers and make you feel welcome and want to stay there. For this reason, me my friends won’t be returning.

Blame it on covid. what used to be an acceptable menu is now an apology for food. tasteless food and invisible staff , apart from the delivery of the food. will not be returning.
