I can't say I was impressed with saundersfoot anyway. only a shady town on the sea.
only with cash. we had fish, sausages, chips and curry sauce all well cooked and good value for money.
nice eating and not greasy. they have to taste with a high quality brat oil for the chips so beautiful. good value for money compared to other facilities.
we were looking forward to fish and chips, but we are very disappointed. the chips were quite fat and the dough was not crispy.
This establishment does not advertise its opening times so I specifically asked one day what time they closed. I was told that it was no earlier than 5:30pm. So, the following day, after a long walk, I turned up at 5:15pm to collect my fish...and chip supper. I was told they were already closed! The staff in attendance (the same ones as on the previous day) did not seem in the least bothered when I said that my poor experience would be shared on Trip Adviser. One gave me a thumbs up. Needless to say, my trade went to The Marina instead. Your loss, Argosy, for misleading customers.
Although we live quite locally we rarely go out for fish and chips but my brother and niece were visiting for a few days and we wanted to relive childhood memories of our holidays here with fish and chips walking along the harbour. The chips...were superb, the fish was so fresh and the batter was lovely and crisp with no excess grease. The service was very good with polite and friendly staff. Will most definitely be returning when my husband and I fancy fish and chips with a stroll.
The fish and chips were so wonderful, we enjoyed them 2 nights running. These were the best we have had , at a very reasonable price compared to all around. Service was great
In the hope of some good old seaside fish and chips for lunch we found this business to be closed at mid day and NO OPENING HOURS DISPLAYED in the windows . Might be a good idea to let potential customers know if and when...it is open
