Me and my wife visited Cafe Rizzoli on Wednesday 22nd July around 1pm. We have visited here a handful of times over the last couple years and have never had a problem. We both had a flat white each and scrambled egg on toast with...smoked salmon. We enjoyed the meal and everything was all good, then half hour later when we were finishing our shopping both me and my wife started to feel ill, we were doubled up in pain with our stomachs, we experienced dizziness, hot sweats, my throat and lips and tongue started to swell up, and eventually was struggling to stand up. We went home early as we obviously wasn’t well enough to carry on shopping. All evening and into the night we were both suffering as much as we did during the day. We aren’t sure what caused this happen to us, wether it was the salmon that was off or a dodgy flat white. But I know for certain we will never eat here again, after how ill we took. But we can’t praise the service enough.

It must be disheartening when you receive reviews like those that precede mine! Good stuff: it's handily situated on the first floor of the Victoria Centre. The physical location is a bit unfortunate in terms of ambience and it reminded me of an airport lounge....(High ceilings and situated with shoppers passing on all sides) I didn't partake of the licensed bar, but did have a decent coffee. Service was a bit slow, and the staff did look like they were at a funeral. I did try to engage with some conversation, but failed miserably!

Rubbish. Naff, weak coffee. I had a toasted ham sandwich. Not much to go wrong there you’d think. First of all only a single slice of bread! Cheap ham, no butter. Dry as you like and £6 for the privilege. Wife’s scone was also very...dry. Not good. Don’t bother.
