big pub, great dartboard, live games and friendly bar staff lianne is the best. good eating (the wings try out)
tonight I visited the oaks for a darts game. there was no caught beer available that I thought was very poor in a marstons pub, famous for marstons pedigree. eating was bad. undercooked chips and husked.
I had dinner with my husband tonight. eating and service was brilliant as always. the burnt oak cannot recommend enough. nate served us our food. Go on.
we had a fabulous afternoon in the burnt oak for the band silver jump. all directives have been complied with. great day. many thanks to the burnt oak team
First time I had been in here to eat,never again,food cold,no customer service when serving our food, a dog roaming about in the restaurant,no track and trace,a one way system that no one was using,no hand sanitizer,no cutlery given had to ask,prawns looked very pale,would...not reccomend or bother again
A group of us visited to Burnt Oak today to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We booked tables outside to see the visiting band, but these were taken by locals. The staff didn’t seem to care too much. There was no sanitizer, or any reference to...social distancing. The toilets had at least 3 people in, blatantly ignoring the signage, and weren’t checked by any staff members. We ordered food, which was simply appalling. The garlic bread was delivered with grated cheese sitting on the top after asking for it twice). The veggie burger was cold, the lasagne was barely edible and the onion rings are barely cooked. The service was terrible, to say the least. I was hugely disappointed at the poor service, lack of adherence to social distancing and trying to keep people safe, and the substandard food. I will be emailing head office to alert them to my concerns.
Went for cheap night out very surprised how good the food was a limited menu but all our food was good. The staff were excellent and very friendly definitely will visit again.
Friendly pub with cheap drinks. Food is average but you get what you pay for. Probably due a refurb now but don’t let that put you off. Some good bands on a the weekend as well.
