Staff are ignorant for people who do not drink alway at the place. You spend a lot of time talking to the locals. So it is now the 27/12/18. Update. What a brilliant overhaul of this place. Not quite sure what happened personnel are freendly and food is good pub duck. I had the Peper Jack Stack Burger coming with chips. The bugger was hot and chips just came out of the frittier. Partner had Bbq Hunter Huhn. Again hot and delicious. Well done Avenue

Experience based on short time on the job. First off the staff are incredible, they always have a smile on their face. Louis operating with ease and charm. Ella with her grand smile and stunning laugh. Ben's no nonsense attitude and sense of humour. Dais' smile and determination to help me. Josh and his great accent and comforting manner. They were always willing to help me when I needed them to and the owner was always fun to joke around with, having some best laughs I have ever heard. The food was wonderful every time I had it, and there was a large selection available and now with restrictions lifting you can now go to the bar to order food. Their ability to pull drinks with ease is a force to be reckoned with. The star of the show was the customer centred approach, everyone knew everyone and the locals welcomed me with open arms. The banter between staff and the customers was incredible and getting know these people was a pleasure. Despite me having to step down so early on, there is no doubt that based on my experience I will be vising this establishment as much as possible.
Best place for steak. Been many places. This beats them hands down. Been here a few times now for steak only. Recommended to anyone. As update. Tried The old faithful burger with two grilled chicken burgers topped with bacon. American style cheesy slice and bbq sause. Delicious, enjoyed every bite. Hunters chicken nachos. really nice flavours. Tasty. Got for two. Picture uploaded and for pudding chocolate fudge cake with icecream and a caramel apple crumble with custard and ice cream. honestly i could eat 3 caramel apple crumbles . Complements to chef.
I ordered from here for the first time tonight on just eat. I got the 7oz gammon, salad and beer battered salt and pepper mushrooms. They ram within minutes to let me know that they didn't have one of the ingredients for the salad and was kind enough to put other extras into it, the man I talked to was very helpful and polite. And what can I say about the food, definitely the best gammon I have had in a long time, everything I got was beautiful and came piping hot and very quick. Thankyou I will definitely be ordering agin x
