Very disappointed to write this but having supported Lu Shan since their ownership we have become very disenchanted with the service. On many occasions we try to place an order by phone but it rings and rings with no answer. As a once fully functioning...restaurant we are disappointed that they no longer are open for eat in customers and suggest the reason is no staff. Sadly we find this hard to believe as local pubs have no less than party time staff on their payroll despite the recent issues of covid and Brexit. On further consideration their argument doesn’t hold water but rather points to mismanagement. Recently we tried to order takeaway and took the phone issues up directly with staff. Our thoughts were met with an aggressive response despite a good years of support. I wonder how they feel when the support deminishs as the service has?

Only on the Isle of Wight for the day I did some research before the visit Briddlesfoed Farm Shop was on my list definitely not to be missed if you are heading to Isle of Wight. At the cafe I had the best halloumi cheese I have ever tasted my partner loved his parsnip soup toastie chios combination. What a great idea. We left with some lovely local bread couple.of cheeses the farms amazing butter. I hope I can place an online order for delivery for their amazing dairy products in the future!
