came here to dinner with a friend and our dogs a few nights ago when we visited the opposite and this pub was the closest to our accommodation. we had a nice greeting from the couple who own the pub and they really made us feel comfortable. the food was delicious and great atmosphere. would definitely return if we were back in the opposite and definitely recommend.
we just had our Christmas dinner in her wonderful pub. as a visitor of the opposite for a short break over the Christmas holiday we had difficult ways to book somewhere, but they found a way to fit us, despite fully booked. we got a nice, friendly greeting when we arrived and were back assured that our table was socially removed. about eating, it was the top class. all the elements of each course are beautifully prepared and presented. the service was not only fast and efficient, but also very friendly and relaxed. I can't speak very enough of our experience of axe fidelity. thanks for making our Christmas so special.
had a nice tee tonight, that came also with a big salate. on the slender world so did not want chips, wobbles, rings, etc. asked if chef could taste my steak with garlic and he served some roasted garlic on the side. was everything on the place, many thanks
we were never here, but last night we met with friends and went there to catch up. great greeting, followed by a nice delicious meal, good menu choices and very cheap prices. the ambiente was warm, welcoming and friendly. they have to let go, we will go back there in definitiv.
cassie and I have often eaten here, personal are beautiful and eat is fresh made to order and exceptional, we recommend this really as a house of home and it is as if we were back in the time to the old days

Very nice, family run Country Pub.Delicious, freshly cooked food.Amazing sticky toffee pudding+baked cheesecake.Very friendly and attentive staff. Will be visiting again!
