my wife karen and I had 1 night. we came for evening races in thirsk. price very reasonable. the staff was very friendly and professional. the accommodation was in front of place. we had an breakfast before we returned to the house, fully English freshly cooked. the set is both for the home trip. hopefully we're back.
comfortable bed and kissing, all they need in the room, much thought is in the guests comfortable, tee, coffee as they would expect, but it is the extras like, earplug, disposable shaver, disposable toothbrushes even up to the toothpicks. the breakfast is very tasty and fresh coffee is nice, very welcoming and friendly, since someone who works from home much, it is really nice, I would recommend the nags head to each
alice was a fantastic host for me and my friends who stayed here for 2 nights. she was very accommodating with us, kept the cash later open at request, she even gave us a lift in thirsk in her car when we fought to book a taxi.
We just used the take away food was good price was fair. Staff were friendly beer was good.

Always a great welcome from Alice and her team, with fabulous food. Try the Special Platter to start, and, if you like spice, the Szechuan chicken is wonderful. Cracking beers on hand pump and a good wine list. We love it!
Takeaway has been brilliant the few times we've been. Nicest Cantonese/Chinese food we've had in North Yorkshire!
