small small place serving good takeaway food. the draller and the chicken breast omelet were really good and fill. there is not enough space for six people to stand and order. also the chefs do not wear gloves that could be a little hygienic. the place has sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, omelettes and a few other sweets along with softdrinks and chips.

Went for a late night Nandos tonight for dinner. Disappointed is an understatement. We ordered a starter of halloumi each and a wrap and peri chips for our mains, after mins the starter was still no where to be seen. May i add the...restaurant was not busy as it was an hour till closing. After stopping a waitress to ask her to check on our food we noticed what looked like a blank expression and stares from all the kitchen staff towards us. When the waitress came back she said “other things were in the oven so they had to wait to put yours in” however the rest of the restaurant had ordered, ate and left by now and we were one of the only tables left so this couldn’t have been the case. When we finally received our food we felt rushed to eat it and get out as multiple members of staff stood behind our table talking while we ate. On top of the food being such a long wait and forgotten about it had obviously been rushed as half our chips were still raw. No explanation or apology from any manager on site due to the inconvenience of this matter. Severely dissatisfied with the quality of food/ service being produced in Nandos lately as this is not the first instance we have experienced issues.
I've been to this pub many times, but this review is for a weekday lunch visit where I was part of a group of seven. The Edward G can get busy and that was certainly the case on the day I visited and so getting a table for seven of us was tricky and in the end we ended up on a low sofa and stools, which isn't ideal for dining. Despite that, this is one of the better fitted Wetherspoons pubs that I have been in I like the dark interior of the place. The queue to order food and drinks becomes a bit of a hassle when the bar is packed and so overall the service experience is saved by the speed with which the food arrives. The food is just what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons plenty of choice, all of it okay, and decent portions too. It's the price that wins the day for this pub lunch including drinks came out at around a head incredible value for money.
