our time here really enjoyed us! thank you! we had the afternoon for us. massive sandwiches, cakes that are so soft! the service was so attentive, corrected our teekanne, nurtured dinge away, so we had more space to check us, although the rest of the caffe was full. in any case recommend, beautiful decor, very clean and noticed they have a little notice to pay it forward' so less happy people can eat something nice or drink thank you ladies x
absolutely beautiful caffe here in layton, we visited today as surprise for one of my friends, and I cannot thank the two beautiful ladies who work here to make it even more special with their service they give, curiositea is a small, cosy but very welcoming cafe, I recommend to them to book a table and visit because they are not disappointed
good I can not recommend very enough, it is not just eating that is excellent it is the amazing staff, they are really the most beautiful people, nothing is too much annoying, they make them really feel special thanks to sue for our afternoon tee that we had today for my mother birthday, we will visit again for our 3rd visit
what can I say? contained a baby shower for my sister in law and from the minute I had booked it up to the day when the shower sue that runs the caffe was simply so friendly and helpful and so warming. the day was nicely decorated and the afternoon tea was simply outside when this world so fresh and so much to such a good price and the cakes are delicious abdcwhat they can not eat them can take them home. I myself and the advised when the party was good and really filled and I can honestly say that the whole party said what is a wonderful place and how wonderful the afternoon was. I would recommend you to visit this fantastic place that I can't very praise. sue her and her girls are really amazing thanks so much from beginning to end x x
what a place! I can only describe it as if I go to your gran, even after you have eaten, they still try to feed you (i.e. my dessert to take home, after eating a huge plate of homemade hotpot) we received a warm welcome, a great friendly service and a good home cooked eating (generated portions). great selection in the offer we will definitely be back for the service, secretly scrub fantastic community feel
have been sitting here with my mother for the afternoon! sweet china tassen and delicious food. he felt very welcome and was like a family! would definitely recommend good prices and good food! comes back!
Don 't really know where to start but I guess it should be by giving Sue and her team a massive pat on the back. I came (begrudgingly) along with my wife and mother in law for afternoon tea expecting to hate it and be bored stupid but instead I think I have stumbled upon an oasis of kindness in what can sometimes be a very bleak and unfriendly town. Everyone that came in was welcomed like old friends, a lot of them were very satisfied returning customers. The children were made to feel really special, there was a shop of donated items for people who needed them to take free of charge and there was a board of items that had been bought by customers for anyone in need of a meal or drink but without any money. A Pay it forward/suspended coffee kinda deal. As if that wasn 't enough they also put on community events for local groups, again funded by donations and the goodness of Sue and her team. Blackpool does sometimes get a bad rep but amongst all of the adversity it has some pretty amazing, kind and creative souls. I 'm lucky to know a lot of these people and delighted to find this fabulous place in the heart of Layton. I recommend it 100%.
Brilliant little coffee shop! Sue is absolutely lovey and can’t do enough for her customers or the community! I love that doggies can come in for a treat too! Barley and I will be regulars!
