cozy, welcoming pub with open fire and beautiful black labor shy anyone who eats with his sad, sad eyes! ignites to find this, the third place I found in bath with aspalls on tap sheer nectar after the terrible and omnipresent thatchers. had the sunday. the wind that was ok, improved if the thick engraving would not be poured over everything. not quite on his call, I would say. will definitely be back for the atmosphere and the aspalls, although this can happen.

we had a fantastic Christmas dinner at the pulteney arms. eating was totally delicious for us carnivores (Turkey Christmas dinner with all circumcisions) and vegetarian members of my family (mushroom laaf with all circumcisions.) we used the private dining room upstairs and had a nice afternoon with great food, wee and fun family games. sasha the owner was fantastic in all communications before bookings and on the day offered amazing service. she was so friendly, very attentive and had the room beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and decorations. I would recommend this pub, the delicious food and the amazing friendly service in any case. thank you and we have booked to come back in two weeks.

we have believed in this pub and what a tasty, friendly staff and fabulous selection of ales on tap. it was a busy Wednesday and quiz night, but we found a table to eat and entered in the quiz night we ordered lamb battle. that was tasty and a ham, egg and chips, simply perfectly planned to stay an hour, but stayed for 3 at the end and felt very welcome very recommended

My hubby and I decided to enjoy a short stroll through Henrietta Park, which was very peaceful, and ended up at The Pulteney Arms. It is a lovely traditional pub, which many locals seemed to be frequenting. We received a warm welcome and decided to...order food, to compliment the fine ale on offer! This is a family owned pub and all the family are very passionate about the place. Service was great and so were our steak and chips. We can highly recommend this great pub, in a quiet location, yet just a short stroll from the town.

We came across this friendly pub after doing some sight seeing. Very friendly hosts, great drinks (loved the cider( and very cosy seating inside and out. Will definitely seek this pub out again when we are in the area.

Had a great Saturday afternoon here at the mid point of a 3 day boys trip. Arrived a tad jaded and left several hours later after being brilliantly looked after by Dean and his lovely wife. I’m in Bath quite frequently and will definitely go...there next time I’m in town. A must visit venue for everyone!!
