Good morning folks, I just returned from breakfast at the White Horse and I enjoyed my experience very much. I have to admit that the place looks a little sketchy from the outside and the inside reminds me of a greasy spoon but the service and food was outstanding. Parking surrounded the building and it was enough. It is not a big place and it was very busy with obvious repeat customers who knew the staff and there were hugs and cheery hellos. The one waitress on duty was very attentive to our needs and I didn't see anyone in the restaurant go without. I ordered the steak and eggs thinking that for $10, I would get a little 4-6 ounce piece but I was surprised to the see a much larger portion and my friend joked that I had ordered a side of beef. I was already starving and it hit the spot perfectly. The entire meal was good, the potatoes had a tasty spice on them, the eggs were as ordered and even the toast was notable in that the bread was dense, crunchy and tasty. Highly recommended.
Went to this restaurant for the first time. Excellent Breakfast at excellent prices. Even comes with coffee or tea. The service was extremely friendly and our meals came out reasonably quick considering how busy they were. Next visit will be Lunch to try their famous clubhouse sandwich.
I was traveling - this was by the Hotel I was staying at. I had the egg benny - very good. Lots of flavour and the fries were very good. I am not a person who normally likes fries but these were good.The service was excellent. And sincere.Will go again
Off of the beaten path, a pleasant 10 minute walk from the Courtyard or Hampton Inn. Excellent value. Good breakfast. Friendly service. Didn't get to try the pea soup, but the eggs Benedict were very good!
