The staff were here to do a job and chatting with you was not part of it. Service slow - up to 20 minutes to get a muffin & cup of hot water. Never received bills but ended up in line with a number of other people to pay by the buffet. They did not have extra staff on which of course did not help the time frames - even though they had just had one conference, then ours and another one following us. The second meal that was catered to was something else - two of us were not served at our table until after everyone else in the room had been served. Some of our table were on desert before we got our meal -
I went to the Tivoli for breakfast and the buffet which cost $16.00 was really not that great. The restaurant is dated and has no warmth but the server, who's name I can't recall and her helper Al, were both awesome.
Had the Hamburger with Mushrooms, Cheese and Bacon - it was Excellent! Could only eat half of it - really fresh Butter Lettuce and Tomato - crisp Dill Pickle - French Fries were great!
I prepaid a buffet breakfast when I made my hotel reservation at the attached Executive Hotel. The buffet is identical each day but I always left very satisfied.
