we came to wales to celebrate birthday. we left everything a little late and when I called all the restaurants around where we were (Betws-y-coed), they were all full on Saturday night. we called this place on the ground and the dame was. so kind. they said they were booked, but we could come along and if/if a table was released, we could have it. So we took the chance. so glad we did. the pub was nice. really good choice of beer/sales. we have a table w shortly after we arrived. eating was amazing. I had the lamb (it is really a whole shoulder..enorm...melt in mouth, although as I managed to, all my bf had the pepper pots bark meat, which had a big ginger ****, our two cumpels had the steak and ale pee and the salmon. we all enjoyed everything! really great worth. dessert wise, the sister of my friend had the pears. a local (even the motor cyclist we really enjoyed chatting, it had recommended), it was delicious. my sticky toffee pudding was a bit overdue, but pleasant. the stylton and the harbour of my friend were disgusting! creamy stylton and smoother port. the service was so friendly. the dame behind the bar was happy to chat. gareth was also such a nice, friendly guy. at the end of the night we all decided that this was the perfect sound. I loved it!
