Visited today with our dogs after a long walk, when we went into the pub we were greeted by really friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. We ordered the drinks and got the menus including Gluten free the pie was amazing and the...Gluten free chicken curry was beautiful, all in all a lovely place with lovely food and dog friendly if your in the area it’s well worth a visit
Nearest pub to where we were staying in Camra Good Beer guide we find if they can keep real ale well, then good food follows Not disappointed. Choice of real ales and proper' pub food at a good price. Clearly much loved and...used by locals. Staff were welcoming and friendly. And if you are catching a train, there is a live departure board in the bar
Visited twice while on holiday in the area with our bear' of a dog and both times received a warm welcome from all the staff. Food was excellent, nothing fancy but good wholesome food, they even gave the dog some sausages and a bowl of...water! We will certainly call again when in the area.
Have visited this pub for food twice. Menu is typical pub food but quality and portions is far superior to most pubs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly as well. The gammon steak is simply the best that I have ever eaten. A...real little gold mine of a pub. Gerry.
