Product looks to be wilted and aging. The bald guy who was making my food was scraping bits of stuff off counter and throwing onto my plate - as well as touching my food with his fingers. Gross and he's a sweaty guy. He was polite enough and the tastes seemed ok but as you can see I didn't finish. When your food is openly displayed in windows it needs to be immaculately fresh - yours isn't. There's too many shawarma places in ottawa - get fresh and wear gloves.
The staff there is awesome, the food? Delicious! I had the Beef Donair and my family had 3 chicken Shawarma's. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor! The garlic potatoes were to die for!They are very kid friendly as well! My son was very thirsty and one of the staff members entertained him a bit as he was ringing through a juice.Will definitely eat here again!
When you go there, you can feel a little uncomfortable, because there's a small and permanent company that shows that they're often there, maybe employees' friends. They serve fast, the price is normal. I don't know about quality, but it tasted like a oc, but... I once saw the products left on the street on a warm day for hours. So I don't know.
It had been a while since I had eaten here and I was hungry and it was near lunch time so I went in a few minutes before noon. Service was fine but the quality of the food was not what I had remembered. The chicken seemed too dry and the garlic sauce was more saucy and less garlic.
