the hotel jägerhof is a family-run restaurant, which also rents some rooms. there is no reception and no hotel entrance in the actual sense. on my demand at the theke after the reception was asked for my name and it was given to me the room key (no magnet card) and I should go to the back entrance where I would find the access to the rooms. the restaurant makes a nice cozy impression. the rustic equipment I felt as very successful and fitting. I guess the entire structure was recently rebuilt or renovated. the access to the rooms leads through a narrow dark not particularly clean staircase. the etage to the rooms, on the other hand, is more nicely designed, with wandtattoos and a little more common. somehow, the hotel access makes a rather improvised impression on me. some parking is available directly at the hotel free of charge. we received the free wifi code on request. price performance is unfortunately not right here and I would no longer book the hotel for these conditions. Location: Centrally located with good transport connections. unfortunately a bit loud at open windows through the restaurant terrace and through the road.Accommodation/room booked I have the hotel about eds there in the hotel description was that it is a modern hotel. de facto it is a restaurant with some rooms that have been recently renovated. the rooms are new and clean, but from described living rooms with large bathroom far away. our room was equipped with a boxspring bed, which was comfortable, but we hardly sleep due to the room location (above the restaurant terrace and the street side). because of the heat we were forced to leave the windows open and it was just too loud. the rooms are normal but definitiv not large. the rooms are in new condition or new, even if the wall decals already dissolve and in the bathroom the first screws are released from the towel holders. the large comfortable bath “the extra class” was in practice a small clean bath with no or only very limited storage facilities. there was none just a liquid soap at the wash basin. the room was acceptable as everything is new and clean, but from the description and from the price I would have expected more definitiw.ServiceCheck in was short and painless in the restaurant. the check out did not happen in the actual sense, since we left only after 9:00 o'clock and after 9.00 o'clock no one is in the hotel or restaurant anymore. we should hang the room key and pull the entrance door, that was. the hotel owner was very friendly, but on me the whole thing worked very well. it was extremely annoying when the hotel owner was on the phone all the time. I guess with his house bank and asked for a credit card number of a gaste. he urgently needed the number to arrange a debit as he would go on holiday tomorrow and would like to do so today. the whole was about. 30 minutes and after various telephone calls about the micro of the handy (we could hear everything), the hotel owner could finally view the credit card data and arrange the debit... would I like to hear it as a hospitable but???GastronomyThe restaurant is really nicely decorated. rustic with a lot of deco, something completed (osterdeko was still present) but still very nice and cozy. very nice menu card and good selection of foods with medium trips. in the grill plate the portion was very large and appetizingly dressed, with the salad plate with garnel were to count a whole 5 minigarnels. we have eaten here on a Tuesday evening and the waiting times were unfortunately much too long with 45 minutes. we were extremely disappointed with the breakfast. the breakfast was and there was no breakfast buffet. absolutely not contemporary and also not mentioned anywhere. when we were in the morning at 8.00 o'clock in the restaurant the hotel owner received us briefly, offered us a place and we should wait for it to bring everything. We got 1 teller with 3 slices salami, 2 slices ham, 3 slices cheese 2 cocktail tomatoes and 3 slices gurken, 2 slices with O juice, 1 broth bachelor with 3 slices. everyone got 2 mirrors but they were unfortunately not very appetizing, neither look nor taste. the 2nd cappuccino we received on demand was once again smaller than the first. Tips/otherapproach: no breakfast buffet. the small breakfast is brought to the table. breakfast only until 9:00.The overnight prices are too high. price performance is not right here. only because the structure is newly renovated, prices are not justified.

who has pleasure in eating Croatians and in the opposite, he will hardly come past the jägerhof. the interior is described by many as cozy and typical. but you could also have come from the years and speak little contemporary. is, of course, also a taste. who suspects a modern restaurant for hippie is at least at the wrong address. the jägerhof is one of these restaurants, as it existed decades ago and that slowly die in the big cities. depending on the time of the clock you are happy to have a table reserved, because the load is always very well visited. the personal is super nice and very sympathetic. you feel very nicely received and quickly the first drinks orders are accepted and the menus are distributed. In the menu you will be beaten because of the extremely large selection of feeds. who isn't so good to decide, so it takes a little longer for the selection. in general, menus with such a large fill are rather a bad sign when it comes to the quality of the dishes. but not so in this case. a clear concept is lacking, apart from that many of the feeds have a Croatian background, but overall we were satisfied. above all, the price-performance ratio is very convincing and much more is getting tired here. the portions are very neat and everything has tasted good to very good.

in the jägerhof there is an excellent German bourgeois kitchen as well as many specialties from the balcony. to most dressed is an salate on the salatable included. the prices are fair and the service is always excellent. there are sufficient parking possibilities opposite or in the side streets. in kerpen definitiw one of the best restaurants.

we were not here for the first time and (I take it forward) not for the last time. The typical Croatian cuisine but also well bourgeois is offered here. the menu is rich and the served diners were arranged appetizingly. it tasted very good. a friendly service has rounded off the visit. Thank you.
