Open Oven Brunch Bakery

On our way to leaf peep, we stopped for an excellent breakfast! Street parking was free, the counter service was speedy and efficient, and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating. The person working the counter was knowledgeable, patient, and kind in helping us place our order. We sat outside for the lovely fall ambiance, and our food arrived quickly. I ordered the chicken waffles, which was an excellent choice. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy, but... beware that it comes with the chipotle syrup already drenching the waffle. As someone who likes very little syrup, I would've preferred to apply it myself. Overall, a great visit, with friendly people, in a quaint atmosphere. The glass case filled with homemade pastries looked very tempting, so I'll certainly return!

They have the best breakfast/brunch!Everything we’ve had here has been delicious but personal favorites are biscuits and gravy and bourbon street waffle. Love the rooftop dining with amazing mountain views when it was open . . . hope it reopens soon! Also cocktails are very tasty! It’s always been very busy when we’ve been but the wait is definitely worth it. Must try when in Black Mountain!

This place is a freaking gem. Love having eggs benie not on a Sunday . Perfect both times I have been here. Seriously wanted to lick the plate but there are people around me.
