There are a number of cafés and restaurants in the lovely Plaza Duquesa, and this is the most simple one, and the only one we could get a table. The menu covers most of the popular Spanish dishes. At lunch, we just wanted a quick bite a tortilla baguette for my partner, and a jamon and cheese one for myself. Both were perfectly ok, nothing special, maybe a little dry. The fresh orange juice was as good as you usually get in this region of orange trees! We shared a slice of almond tart with some rather melting whipped cream, again fairly average. The staff were rushed off their feet, but still managed to be pleasant, and the wait for our food was not unreasonable; they're obviously used to handle the crowds. Prices were about the same as in the other two slightly more upmarket places in the square. It's EUR5 for a baguette, EUR3 for an orange juice, and a whopping EUR4.50 for a tart quite a bit more than in a wonderful café we found in a less touristy spot.

Stopped here for a bite to eat for breakfast and ended up staying much of the early afternoon. The food was good, but you come to realise that bad food is hard to come by in Ronda. What enticed is was the sun as you will find, Ronda can be a bit on the chilly side, with its sharp wind! The restaurant position is sheltered from the wind is a good sun trap! After a couple of orange juices (very tasty, as you’d expect of the region), a classical guitarist began busking, making a typical Spanish atmosphere. As you can imagine, orange juice turned into beer and so the afternoon began. Sun, cold drinks and nice music what more do you need? All in all, a very pleasant (and warm) experience!

We were walking around Ronda looking at all the wonderful sights and wanted to take a short break and refuel and managed to get a nice table here in the shade. Food was simple and tasty and good value for money. There was a guy playing classical guitar also which added to the atmosphere and our enjoyment.

...and because of that the service was slow. Bit the god were good, tasty and fresh. We both had paella. I can’t blame the staff, they did as good as possible. I do reccomend the stroll out of the main tourist attraction.
