Merendero Casa Miguel

Sunday afternoon about 15:30 and the restaurant was not too busy. We had Tuna Tartar costing €16.50 each and whilst the Tuna was ok it was too small a portion almost as a starter for this price. The waiters were rushing around and we had to grab one to ask for some bread etc. Then they brought out one Tuna Tartar and we had to wait approx 5 minutes for the other one to appear. Also a small beer really is a small beer here not even a 33cl can amount. Our overall feeling was that this restaurant was over priced with regard to portions /price compared to other restaurants on the sea front. Sorry guys you only get our custom the one time!

Very popular restaurant with great views of the promenade and sea. We ordered the gambas pil-pil and the fried rosada, both of which were tasty. Good selection of desserts too. I had the ‘milhojas’ (Mille-feuille) which was delicious. Could not order coffee and liqueurs at the end of our meal which was strange, maybe it was too late?! Service fairly good, had to wait a fair while for tables to be cleared.

We visited on a balmy Xmas eve and this place seemed very popular with the locals. We had a tropical salad, a Spanish tortilla and a beer and red wine. All good and fresh although the waiter was super surly which is pretty unusual round these parts.

Hi guys, Excellent food. Very tasty. Nice view. Nice seating. Attentive waiter. Extensive menu. Mullet, hake, rosada, Octopus, Shellfish rice. Squid, salmon. mussels, prawns. I like fish and mariscos. Worth a detour. regards schliek.

Teníamos la ilusión de comer sardinas asadas. Nos quedamos con el antojo, decidimos pedir dos opciones, pero tampoco. Luego de un par de horas de espera. Es lamentable, aunque el mesero muy gentil no cargó el agua y las bebidas.
