Me and my wife would like to thank the owners , they held there first wedding dinner for me and my wife last minute with only friend be weeks to prepare, about 28 people, and this was the perfect choice from the amazing food Mr. Kim cooked for our guests to preparing steaks I brought for the wedding party, which was there first time, and they nailed it right on. If your looking to have a nice elegant meal, or hold a dinner party Joya is the best place to pick it's a small family run restaurant and high class meals served at reasonable prices they take true care in everything they do. From Mr. Kim's daughter going out and getting some great decorations to Kay's Mr. Kim's sons service and heartfelt care given during the whole event. We will post pictures later for all to see once we get them back from our photographer, this place went above and beyond they truly care about there guest and great management and Mr. Kim is a true chef head chef he knows how to run his kitchen and how to make each meal to perfection. Mr. Woodhall and Mr. Zhou thank you from the bottom of our yearly for the perfect wedding dinner.

It is located in the downtown area of Milton, which is a huge plus for me because it is such a cute little strip. The interior was very cosy and larger than it seems from the outside. You could probably go in here with a large group or was a small one. The good. The menu was a decent size with plenty of rolls, appetizers and rice/noodle dishes to Choose from. The service was amazing and the servers were extremely attentive. The price was pretty average for a Japanese/sushi restaurant. I had ordered two rolls-spicy salmon and salmon tempura roll, Edamame and miso soup. It was also pretty average, nothing too special and didn't blow my mind. The bad? Nothing really. Overall, an average sushi restaurant and I wouldn't mind going back.

This is a nice small family owned restauarnt with Japanese and korean food options. They offer sushi, rice dishes (don) and noodle dishes (udon). They also have a popular lunch special menu as well. I've tried their udon before and the broth is very unique and different from any place I've ever tried. It's probably one of the best. Try their seafood Udon or their Nabe Udon you won't be disappointed and the prices are quite reasonable. Their sushi is very fresh and the presentation is really pretty. Staff are very kind and welcoming and able to provide suggestions when needed. I love this place for the hospitality and the food. This is a nice change compared to the western food you always see in the area. Definitely check it out.

Saw the 4.5 stars and said hey this place must be phenomenal lets try it out!! Wrong! Food quality was very disappointing. The only good thing about this place is the staff are very friendly. To the girl who wrote best sushi place in Milton ... you obviously havent tasted good sushi. If you want good sushi in Milton stick with Sushi Ya just around the corner.
