I like the food at Habaneros but I was ignored today. I know they were busy after a busy lunch but no one apologized for letting me stand there 10 minutes while they restocked. As well, I am tired of the manager always having a scowl on his face. I think if you are in enough you would get a warmer welcome than he presents. The owner at Taco Del Mar never had anything but a smile on his face. I will eat where I am welcomed - Taco Del Mar.
The place is bright and cheery when you walk in. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The food, however, was pretty bland. The veggies were not that fresh, and the flavors just weren't there. It wasn't horrible, but it was nothing you couldn't make yourself at home. I probably won't go back.
Great place for lunch if you are looking for Mexican food. The portions are generous (lots of napkins at the tables!) and you certainly won't go hungry. The food is very tasty and a good value.
Great flavors! If you are looking for fresh, this is the place. Tacos are great, staff is friendly. Only bad thing I must say: the guacamole... it need serious improvement.
