We came here 1st time on Saturday the 12th of August very busy and we order soup of the day plus a few slice of bread tea while we there we booked for table for 2 for 7.30 Unknown to me my partner he told them it was my 70th birthday and to have a special chosen table of which they did us proud they had a 70th birthday banner across the table and a hallium balloon with 70 on it they serve us really well at the end of the last meal we order a royal cheese cake had a happy birthday candle on it we had photos taken it was best evening every just as well we reserved our table because some group of people had to wait so long for it is a very busy place and nice staff as well so it best to reserved your table for night time.
My friends and I went to this lovely restaurant/bar this afternoon. We tried the delicious seafood pasta (called rock pasta), which was fresh and cooked in a delightful garlic tomato sauce. The hot chocolate was also a winner, not too heavy on the whipped cream like usual. The staff were friendly and amazing. The only downside was the soup, which tasted like curry with an abundance of veggies. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the tourist information center in Oban, so make sure to stop by when you're in town.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant! We tried calamari fritters, mussels, and sirloin steaks, and everything was delicious. Although the exterior of the restaurant seemed unimpressive, we were very pleased with our choice. The service was friendly and the food was great.
Just loved my Pizza and my wife loved her Pasta. Veg Pakora and Molluscs were super yum... Must visit for anyone visiting Oban in search of a good Italian place to eat. Just please avoid if it is cold outside. This place is super cold with bad heating.
