It doesn’t get much better than this. A jewel even in the Sam’s estate of perfect pubs. No phones, super landlord, friendly locals, quality pie, great prices and everything inside that a country pub should be. Beer garden looked lovey too. Villagers are blessed to have this in walking distance.
An actual real old-fashioned country pub with no plastic atmosphere. Genuinely friendly locals and licensee, and the price of a pint at a realistic level £2.99) and beautifully kept. Just wish I lived nearer than the 250 miles to my home. I will return!!!
excellent food , giant yorkshire, loads of varied veg a great cut of beef all nice a hot with lovely gravy,with an extra boat full. followed by sticky toffee pud a custard, yum.
Nice pub 5min walk from naburm marina, campsite . Dog friendly pub to and beer garden at rear of pub .
